Senior Adult Ministry

Loving those who now reside in nursing homes is a ministry which requires no special training. If you can "make a joyful noise" you qualify! We celebrate birthdays and knowing Jesus! We meet at the nursing home in Jacksonville at 2:00 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month. We make monthly visits to our homebound First Family at home.  Many of our Senior Adults volunteer at Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center, an interfaith non-profit ministry designed to assist low-income families. Others volunteer at the hospital and other established volunteer agencies. Our Seniors are some of the most active and involved in our community. You'll see their smiling faces everywhere!
